Winter Holiday Workshops at Oliewenhuis Art Museum:

Theme: Frosty Fun!

Winter is here and we are inviting all our talented young artists to participate in our exciting winter holiday workshops. The ultimate aim of the workshops is to have fun, to learn new arts and craft skills and ultimately to experiment with a variety of materials.

Each workshop will consist of two practical art activities and outside games. Please remember to bring a lunchbox and wear old, warm clothes.

We only have limited space, so book yours as soon as possible!

Day 1: 26 June 2023

Who knew that normal party balloons can be transformed into fun animated portraits? This workshop will teach you to create your interpretation of portraits of family and friends and have endless fun in decorating it with a variety of materials!

A second creative activity will be presented where we will create funky paper snails. Again, a variety of materials will be provided to decorate your own little snail creature using a variety of provided materials.

Day 2: 27 June 2023

Creating folded paper fans are fun! With this session you will learn how to make an interesting fan inspired by the lovely colours and shapes of a watermelon. You can bedazzle your paper fan with all the materials provided.

A second creative activity will be presented where we will create funky paper snails. Again, a variety of materials will be provided to decorate your own little snail creature using a variety of provided materials.

Day 3: 28 June 2023
