Together with Museum Management, the Administration Department ensures the smooth running of the Museum and its responsibilities include financial services, stores, vehicles, caretakers and cleaning services. The advancement and growth of the Museum in recent years necessitated the appointment of a Chief Financial Offer (CFO) in 2006; much of the work of this position was previously undertaken by the Senior Bookkeeper.
Museum Management, currently represented by the Director and CFO, is tasked with overall responsibility for all the functions and activities of the National Museum, including compliance with the legislative frameworks in which the Museum operates, as a Government-funded Public Entity.
