The Foundation phase of Brebner Primary School recently visited the Education Department of the National Museum over 3 days. A total of 614 learners and 30 educators enriched themselves by attending a special lesson on “All about birds”.
These learners were fascinated by our collection of stuffed birds that forms part of our classroom exhibition and were able to see real object like bird’s eggs, feathers and nests which enhance their learning experience during the lesson! After the lessons they did self-tours through the Museum and enjoy their snacks in the Museum garden.
