The Education Department of the National Museum hosted NSW from 11 to 15 August 2025. We did outreach presentations to schools in the Mangaung area and some FS schools.
We reached a total number of 2 711 learners and educators participated in our National Science Week.
The theme for this year was “Science, technology and innovation are for everyone”. During our visits to Secondary schools we highlighted and shared information about the different Science Careers available at the National Museum. We showed the learners what subjects they would need for the different fields of science they would be interested in and what qualifications they needed for each Science Career.
At the end of our presentations, we gave each learner a colourful, informative flyer with all the necessary information on it.
