Oliewenhuis Art Museum’s Kiddies Holiday Workshops

Day 1 – Tuesday, 14 July 2026:

Venturing into Mixed Media Art

This workshop introduces participants to the exciting possibilities of mixed-media art through a hands-on creative project. Participants will create layered artwork that combines a variety of materials and techniques, including printing, paper collage and fun elements such as buttons and beads. In the process, they will explore texture, composition and storytelling, producing a unique artwork inspired by their town and surroundings.

Day 2 – Wednesday, 15 July 2026:

Sculpture and Three-Dimensional Artmaking

This workshop focuses on sculpture and three-dimensional artmaking. Participants will explore sculptural techniques and take on the challenge of incorporating a variety of materials into their work, expressing their individuality through their creations. The process encourages experimentation and creative thinking that moves beyond the flat surface.

 Day 3 – Thursday, 16 July 2026:

Please note:
Booking is essential as spaces are limited.
Only children with a confirmed booking will be allowed to participate.
Each child may only book for and participate in two of the workshops.
