Learning through Art: The museum as classroom
A Visual Arts curriculum-based exhibition curated from Oliewenhuis Art Museum’s Permanent Collection, complimented by artwork loans courtesy of William Humphreys Art Gallery, Kimberley.
This is an invaluable experience to view artworks, genres, and subject matter discussed in the visual arts textbook on the walls of Oliewenhuis Art Museum.
This exhibition has a dual function: the museum literally becomes a class room for tours and discussions and to enjoy and learn about historical moments in South African art history.
Book a tour any time of your convenience with Yolanda de Kock at 051 0110 525 or yolanda@nationalmuseum.co.za.
