The Education Department at the National Museum was invited by The Biodiversity Education and Public Engagement division at the Free State National Botanical Garden (SANBI) to do a presentation and sharing information on biodiversity management and conservation- with the main focus on the 2022 theme “Building a shared future for all life”.

Mrs Patrys Meyer talked about the diversity provided by our natural systems for human existence and well-being on Earth and about the work we do and the role our organisation plays towards contributing to sustaining biodiversity. She also shared which Biodiversity Careers are found at the National Museum.

We reached a total of 106 school learners and educators for the day.
