The Education Department of the National Museum recently visited Eunice Primary School for girls during a special Science Day at their school.
Our exhibition represented the different departments at the National Museum and the learners were given information on these departments, what we do at the Museum and they were able to see and touch some objects.
The Eunice girls in return dressed up in interesting and creative ways to fit the theme. They were amazed at the variety of scientific departments who operate at the Museum. We sincerely hope that we have inspired many of them to one day become Museum scientists themselves.
Schools are welcome to contact us at 051 447 9609 or to visit our website at www.nasmus.co.za to get more information on our educational programmes.
