The Education Department at the National Museum once again did very successful and much appreciated Educator Training Workshops to some previous disadvantage schools from 13 to 17 February 2023.
The theme for the workshop was “how to make and use your own Environmental Friendly Clay”.
The 5 schools visited were located in the Greater Bloemfontein/Mangaung area and are as follows:Tshehang Development & Training Centre, Neo Day Care Centre, Lethabo Day Care Centre (Grassland), Edna Rita Pre-primary (Ashbury) and Tweety Bird Day Care (Thaba Nchu).
We reached 47 teachers in total.
We also gave information about the Museum and the services which the Museum’s Education Department can offer to schools.
