During the week of 22 -26 May the Education department of the National Museum presented PowerPoint presentations on Multiculturalism in Africa to Gr 7 and My Country, SA to Gr R – 3 school learners.
We presented to 13 groups and reached a total number of 2707 learners and educators.
We also showed the learners real cultural artefacts and numerous flags from various African countries which made it even more impressive and special. Learners could participate in some interactive activities, such as to greet in our 11 official languages, traditional dances, drum playing, etc.
