This week, the grade R learners of Fichardtpark Primary had a sweet adventure! Each day one of their classes paid a visit to the Education Department of the National Museum to explore the fascinating world of honeybees!
Our Education Officer, Patrys Meyer, learnt the little inquisitive minds about how these tiny pollinators help our ecosystems and they discovered the intricate way how bees communicate through the waggle dance! Every moment was a hive of excitement!
They left with a deeper appreciation for these hardworking little heroes — and a reminder that protecting them means protecting our planet!
Remember to book in advance if you want to visit our Education Department for an unforgettable museum experience! Call us on 051 447 9609 to make a booking!
