In September, Lebohang Makoae, Education Officer at the National Museum in Bloemfontein, attended a heritage celebration in QwaQwa that brought Heritage Month to a close on a high note.
The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture invited the Museum to take part with exhibition displays from our Mobile Museum. The community came out in numbers to enjoy the displays and the cultural entertainment, with around 2 500 people attending on the day.
Thank you to the community and to all the stakeholders who supported the event and made it such a success.
