EXPLORING INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

On the 10th of May 2024, The National Museum Bloemfontein and The Art Bank SA was invited by the Central University of Technology to an ongoing dialogue Exploring Internation Collaboration between Central University of Technology, Free State (South Africa)

And Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology (Russia, Moscow); The State University of Nizhny Novgorod; Higher School of Economics, (Russia, Moscow); and The South African Forum for Russian Alumni, Shyire Krug.

The key objective of the dialogue is to explore possibilities of bilateral relations and collaboration between the Central University of Technology, The National Museum Bloemfontein, The Art Bank SA, Shyire Krug and interested institutions of higher learning in the Russian Federation, with the priority being the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology.

The involvement and participation of Mr Monde Sithole (Graphic Designer and Website manager – National Museum) in the previous Russia Africa Seminar hosted by the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology (Russia, Moscow), organised by Embassy of the Russian Federation in South Africa and The South African Forum for Russian Alumni, Shyire Krug played a significant role in coordinating this high level of state dialogue with the help of Dr TP Moremoholo (Senior Lecturer – Department of Design and Studio Art) together with the Centre for Global Engagement (CGE) Central University of Technology, Free State.
