From 21 -23 May the Education department of the National Museum presented outreach presentations on Multiculturalism in Africa to Gr 5 – 7 and My Country, SA to Gr R – 3 school learners. We showed the learners real cultural artefacts and numerous flags from various African countries which make our presentations more impressive and vivid. Learners could participate in some interactive activities, such as to greet in our official languages, blowing a vuvuzela, drum playing, etc.
We reached a total number of 1430 learners and educators.
